About Us

The Jesuit Education Abroad is the official website for the Consortium of Study Abroad Programs by the Association of Jesuit Colleges & Universities (AJCU). Designed by Vidalino Raatior, Assistant Director of Study Abroad Programs at Santa Clara University, the website is managed by representatives from each member schools in the consortium.

The AJCU International Conference is comprised of study abroad directors and international program officers at AJCU and AUSJAL (Association of Latin American Jesuit Colleges and Universities) institutions. The group meets several times throughout the year to discuss collaborative activities in the context of international education. Group members stay in contact throughout the year through an active AJCU listserv.

The study abroad programs on this website is a result of an agreement between several AJCU institutions to share study abroad programs. Members of the consortium that have signed the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) for shared programming are eligible to have their program information listed on this website. Some of the benefits to AJCU institutions to share programs include mission-driven programming, more study abroad offerings for students, and possible cost savings.
